Tips

To receive better hits from your search try the
following:
-
Check your spelling. A simple spelling error will
alter the retrieved results.
-
If you are using the “Advanced Search” page and are
choosing several combinations to search the database, try reducing your
criteria. The data is connected with “AND” statements, so all the criteria
would need to be exact for there to be any results.
-
When searching for the Street Address the less
information that you enter the more hits you will receive. Example: if you
enter in 25 you will pull all back all of the offenders who have a 25 anywhere
in their address.

Navigating Tips
|
-
To direct the map click on the desired direction:
North, Northeast, East, Southeast, South, Southwest, West, or Northwest. The
list of offenders will refresh every time the map changes.
-
The arrows to the left of the map allow you to zoom
in and out. Zoom levels are set. The list of offenders will also refresh every
time the zoom level changes.
-
When you are looking at a map that displays all of
Washington State, you will not be able to zoom out any further.
-
When you are looking at the map of the offender’s
neighborhood you will only be able to zoom in to a one mile radius.
-
By clicking on the up and down arrows for zoom you
are cycling through the set zoom levels.
-
Once you have selected a zoom the current level will
be highlighted on the zoom bar.
